What it is

A series of messages with waits between them. Step one might send straight away, step two the next day, step three three days later.

Why use it

Because most work is won by following up, and nobody follows up reliably by hand while also doing the job.

Example

New inquiry arrives. Immediate text acknowledging it. Next morning, an email with a price guide. Three days later, a short "still interested?" text. Any reply stops all of it.

Steps

1. Open Sequences and press New sequence.
2. Open it and add steps.
3. Publish the steps.
4. Return to the list and press Activate.

Published version

A frozen copy of the steps. Editing creates a new one; anybody part-way through the old one finishes on it.

Quiet hours

A window when nothing sends. Work waits rather than being dropped.

Common problems

Activate is greyed out.

The sequence has no published steps. Open it, add some, publish. The button is doing its job.

I edited a live sequence. What happens to people already in it?

They finish on the version they started. That is what stops an edit changing a message somebody is about to receive.
